    The Sacrifice by Malvina Cornell Hoffman in the Memorial RoomThe Harvard University Choir will perform a concert in Remembrance of the End of World War I. Music of Lili Boulanger, Gareth Treseder, C. Hubert H. Parry, and others. Free and open to the public. 

    Come early to the concert to view our related exhibition: The Wartime Etchings of J. Alphege Brewer, a series of color etchings by British artist James Alphege Brewer showing scenes from Belgium and Northern France—cathedrals, churches, and town buildings damaged or destroyed during World War I.     The 109th Annual Christmas Carol Service

    The 109th Annual Christmas Carol Services will be held in the Memorial Church Sanctuary on Sunday, Dec. 9 at 5:00 p.m., and on Tuesday, Dec. 11 at 8:00 p.m. Doors open one hour before each service. Admission is free; an offering for charity is collected.

    Choral Evensong

    Appleton Chapel in the Memorial Church
    The sung evening prayer service of the Anglican daily prayer tradition, Choral Evensong is a versatile service which can incorporate many musical traditions into its structure. Primarily featuring choral music as a way to beautify the daily round of prayer, it also includes organ music and congregational singing along with some spoken prayer in this approximately forty-five minute service.
