Body and Soul: Harvard Religion and Sexuality Forum

Body and Soul is a new forum for Harvard students to explore questions of how spirituality and religion play into our thinking about sex, sexuality, and gender. We will explore those curious, controversial and taboo questions about sex that never get talked about, especially in our society and communities of faith. The goal of this forum is to work with students in the development of their own moral and ethical reasoning about sex in a world where sexual ethics increasingly has little purchase. The first session on Monday,November 17 at 7:00 p.m. in the Buttrick Room of the Memorial Church will explore the theme “Sex Matters.” The forum will officially begin Spring Term 2015 and meet bi-weekly.

We are committed to creating a safe, student-centered space where people of all faiths, no faith, deep faith, and questioning faith are welcome. Mulled Cider and Georgetown Cupcakes will be provided.
