Preacher: The Rev. Dr. Carolyn J. Sharp, Professor of Homiletics at Yale Divinity School. Her research explores the narrative art and theology of biblical texts as resources for Christian preaching. She is interested in ways in which preaching can support believers’ spiritual formation via insights from biblical studies, feminist perspectives on power, and ecotheology. Her books include a commentary on

Jeremiah 26–52 (2022);
The Prophetic Literature (2019); Wrestling the Word: The Hebrew Scriptures and the Christian Believer (2010); and Irony and Meaning in the Hebrew Bible (2009).
