Jeffrey Blackwell
Creative and Communications Lead
Jeffrey Blackwell is the Creative and communication Lead for Memorial Church. He is responsible for all aspects of communications, content development, marketing and promotion, brand management, development, and creative campaigns.
Jeffrey joined the Memorial Church staff in 2016. Prior to coming to Harvard, he was a newspaper journalist, multimedia specialist, and online editor for more than 30 years, working in newsrooms including USAToday, Rochester (NY) Democrat and Chronicle, and Portland (Maine) Press Herald. He attended Indiana University and Ball State University. Jeffrey lives on the South Shore with his wife, Deborah. He finds joy in activities like kayaking, fine art street photography, and producing short films, which add a unique dimension to his professional life.
