Elizabeth Propst
Elizabeth Propst joined the Memorial Church in 2018 as a Harvard College first-year, and she’s overjoyed to continue serving the church community as a Master of Divinity candidate at Harvard Divinity School. Born and raised in western North Carolina, Elizabeth has a BA in English and Comparative " src="/profiles/openscholar/modules/contrib/wysiwyg/plugins/break/images/spacer.gif" title="<--break-->">Religion, and at HDS she plans to continue focusing her studies on literature and the arts while following a call to ministry. Having survived Harvard College herself, Elizabeth is always ready to offer support to undergraduates — whether via study tips, prayer, checking in over a cup of tea, or sneaky access to the church’s snack cupboard. She particularly welcomes conversations with students struggling to adjust to life at Harvard, students interested in direct service (particularly housing justice), and anyone hoping to explore the relationship between their faith and their sexuality, gender, and/or queerness in a safe and supportive context.
