Queer Divine Discussion Panel

The Memorial Church and the Office of BGLTQ+ Student Life is hosting an interfaith panel discussion exploring the joyful intersections of LGBTQ+ identity and religion, ethics, and spirituality. Panelists will tell their personal stories, weaving in perspectives on history and theology. All are welcome.

Ravjot Mehek Singh is an award winning Sikh Indian American Film and TV Director and art activist. With many multifaceted successes under her belt at a young age, many Indian and American magazines and news outlets refer to her as one of the youngest female directors in Bollywood and one of the first openly LGBTQ+ Sikh women directors in South Asia. She is currently working as Digital Media Producer for Mayor Wu's office at the City of Boston.

Jordan Harris is the Pastor of Connexion, a United Methodist community focused on social justice and innovative spiritual engagement. As a queer person of color and ordained Elder, Jordan brings diverse perspectives to his ministry. He aims to transform traditional church models into sustainable community centers and sacred event spaces through storytelling and community building. Jordan is a graduate from Boston University School of Theology and is committed to fostering inclusive, action-oriented faith communities.

Sarah Mamlet works at Keshet, a nonprofit which works for the full equality of LGBTQ Jews and their families in Jewish life. She is their Operations Manager, where she brings her values of harmony, community-building, and justice to the organization. Her work focuses on internal systems, supporting her colleagues with logistics and technology, and ensuring Keshet’s smooth day-to-day operations. Sarah has a background in electoral and community organizing, with experience as an organizer for progressive local, state, and national campaigns. Sarah graduated from Vassar College, with a major in psychology and minors in math and Jewish studies. Outside of work, Sarah enjoys singing, traveling, reading too many novels, and trying to pet every dog in the greater Boston area.
