Honoring our Veterans

This Veteran’s Day, in partnership with Harvard College, the Harvard Foundation is hosting a Veterans Day observance to honor and recognize the service and contributions of our military service members. The program will feature participation from Harvard College veteran and ROTC students as well as faculty, staff, and administrators. This important gathering will provide an opportunity for the campus community to come together in gratitude, reflect on the meaning of the day, and pay tribute to those who have served.

The Harvard Veterans Alumni Organization will rededicate the Medal of Honor Plaque in the Memorial Church, adding the names of two alumni: Clinton A. Cilley, class of 1859, and Alexander Archer Vandegrift, who received an honorary Doctor of Laws degree in 1946.
