HARVARD UNIVERSITY CHOIR

FERRIS CHORAL FELLOWS

Wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
The Harvard University Choir's Ferris Choral Fellows, conducted by Edward E. Jones, sing "O Nata Lux" by UChoir alum Charles R. Beaudrot JD ’76

Dear Jeffrey,

We are delighted to announce that—thanks to the generous financial support of so many of you—the campaign to name Harvard University’s Choral Fellows in honor of John Raymond Ferris (University Organist and Choirmaster, 1958-1990) has been completed!

Henceforth, the group will proudly be called the Ferris Choral Fellows; the sixteen wonderful singers featured in the accompanying video herald this name change with a performance of a work dedicated to John Ferris by UChoir alum, Charles R. Beaudrot JD ‘76. My sincere thanks go to my predecessor, Dr. Murray Forbes Somerville, for his leadership and generous support in launching this project, and to our many loyal alums and supporters who are honoring and memorializing a beloved member of Harvard’s community through this naming.

Very sincerely yours,
Ed Jones
