Fall 2017 Auditions
Students interested in joining the Harvard University Choir should plan on participating in our fall preliminary auditions (schedule below). We ask that you prepare a short piece (a solo work if you have one, but a hymn tune or “Happy Birthday” will do as well) for our preliminary audition; you’ll also be asked to do some range testing and sightreading. There's no need to sign up for a time slot, just show up any time during preliminary auditions.
To learn more about UChoir, please join us for tea-time on Aug. 31 from 4-5 p.m. All auditionees are also invited to join the choir for an Open Rehearsal on Aug. 31 from 5-6 p.m. to get a sense of our week-to-week work.
Please feel free to contact the Choir Secretaries Cara Jacobson ’18 or Theodora Mautz ’19 at uchoir@gmail.com with any questions about the audition process, singing with the choir, or music at Harvard more generally! Watch the documentary below for a backstage look into choir audtions.
