Matthew Ichihashi Potts, PhDThis week we mark the 90th anniversary of our beloved church, dedicated on Armistice Day, Nov. 11, 1932, to the memory and sacrifice of Harvard students, faculty and staff killed in World War I. Our service this Sunday will mark this anniversary, as well as commemorate all those fallen men and women listed on the walls of the Memorial Room and sanctuary.

Preacher: The Rev. Matthew Ichihashi Potts, Ph.D ’13, Pusey Minister in the Memorial Church, Plummer Professor of Christian Morals in the Faculty of Divinity; Anthems: Carson Cooman: They Remain Vaughan Williams: Lord, Thou Hast Been Our Refuge. Our service will mark the 90th anniversary of the church, as well as commemorate all those fallen men and women listed on the walls of the Memorial Room and sanctuary. A multi-denominational Protestant worship service open to all regardless of faith, serving the Harvard University community and beyond.

The Memorial Church is following health and safety guidelines for the wellbeing of the Harvard and surrounding communities. Face coverings are optional in indoor University spaces, with limited exceptions, for vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals.
