Morning Prayers (Black History Week): Suzannah Omonuk MDiv III

Speaker: Suzannah Omonuk MDiv III, Harvard Divinity School student, who also serves as a Student Oasis Monitor. She is author of poem about Venus, an enslaved girl in Wadsworth (featured in the Gazette). Harvard Radcliffe Institute invited Suzannah to write and deliver the introductory speech for Pulitzer Prize winner and 22nd Poet Laureate of the United States, Professor Tracy K Smith.

 

The daily Morning Prayers service is conducted each weekday morning from 8:30 to 8:45 a.m. in Appleton Chapel during the academic term. The service consists of music, prayer, and a brief address by a member or friend of the University.
