A New Format for Sunday Services

You might notice a change in the sound of Sunday Services. Missing is the distinct acoustics of the Memorial Church sanctuary, the voices of choir members and the power of the Charles B. Fisk & Peter J. Gomes Memorial Organ. But what remains is the heart and tradition of worship at the Memorial Church.

Our services are being pre-recorded by MemChurch clergy and musicians from their homes, due to guidance by the University. Services will still be broadcast at 11 am on WHRB Radio 95.3 FM and posted on our SoundCloud account. Programs such as Faith & Life, Church School, MemCafé, book reading and other group events are now available through Zoom. Please consult our calendar for the latest listings and information. The safety of our community, which includes our staff, remains our first commitment.

Jesus said, “For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them.” Although we may be far flung in our gathering, our worship still remains communal and sacred.

We pray that you and yours remain healthy and resilient during this time.
