Jeffrey Blackwell is the Creative and communication Lead for the Memorial Church. He is responsible all aspects of communications, content development, marketing and promotion, brand management, development and creative campaigns.

Jeffrey joined the staff of the Memorial Church in 2016. Prior to coming to Harvard, he was a newspaper journalist, multimedia specialist and online editor for more than 30 years, in newsrooms including USAToday, Rochester (NY) Democrat and Chronicle and Portland (Maine) Press Herald.

Jeffrey lives on the South Shore with his wife Deborah and enjoys kayaking, street photography and producing short films.
