Dear friends,
As many of you know, our dear colleague Finance Director Nancy Granert, is retiring in just a few short weeks. We are grateful for Nancy's many contributions to the Memorial Church over the years and wish her well on her future endeavors.
It is with great excitement that we announce the appointment of Charles Anderson as Memorial Church’s new Director of Finance and Operations! With more than 20 years working for Harvard, he brings a wealth of experience and skills to the Memorial Church. Charles comes to us from Harvard Divinity School where he served as Assistant Director for Administration and Finance at the Center for the Study of World Religions (CSWR) since 2005. Prior to CSWR, Charles held positions in the office of Ambassador Robert D. Blackwill for the U.S. National Security Project, the Middle East Initiative, and the Executive Programs at the John F. Kennedy School of Government as well as with Harvard's Central Administration. Welcome Charles!
We've also had changes in our Communications Department. Justin Mullane, our long-time Director of Communications, has relocated to western Massachusetts and will be helping out with day-to-day tasks remotely while Digital Communications Manager Adrienne Yapo will be the main point of contact for communications-related issues.
